How to restrict bidding to approved customers

The default settings for Auction Plus allow customers with an active account on your store to place bids. Further restrictions can be placed on who is allowed to bid from the Settings page of Auction Plus under the Auction -> General section. At this time, there are two options to limit bidding for customers.

Require approval to bid

This option will restrict bidding to customers that have been approved from the Customers section of Auction Plus.

Auto-approve bidders with purchase history

This option will allow customers who have made a prior purchase to place a bid, even if they have not been pre-approved from the Customers section. This setting is useful for pre-approving customers with an existing purchase history on your store.
