Getting Started
Follow this quick guide to setup your first auction, or add shareable wishlists to your store.
Step 1
After installing the Auction Plus app on your store, you are ready to add auctions and shareable wishlists (on select plans) to your product and collection pages. Open the app, then navigate to the app's dashboard. If you have not yet setup the app, you will be presented with the setup screen.
Select Setup Now or Choose Plan on a feature, and the setup guide will walk you through activating it on your storefront.
Auctions
The auction setup guide will walk you through creating your first auction, adding the app to your storefront, creating a collection that lists your live auctions, and previewing the auction to ensure it looks great on your theme. You can find advanced tips on creating auctions under Creating an Auction.
Following
Now available on our Essential and Unlimited plans, the Following feature adds shareable wishlists to your storefront, allowing your customers to follow and share both auction listings and products. This setup guide will walk you through adding the following page button to your store's navigation, and the follow and unfollow button to product pages.
After completing the setup process, app features can be adjusted later under the Settings page.
Step 2
Navigate to the Customer Accounts page on your store by clicking on Settings then Customer Accounts.
Make sure to check "Show login link in the header of online store and checkout". Click Save on the top right corner.
Step 3
You've completed the app setup! You can create new auctions by navigating to the Auctions page and clicking Create Auction. Some themes may need additional adjustments - if you create an auction and do not see the bidding form on your product page, please contact us at support@auctionplusapp.com and we'd be happy to assist.
